Green Antioxidant Dog Treats

Have you heard about free radicals? Free radicals are molecules that can cause serious health problems if too many of them accumulate in the body.

Generally, your dog’s body does a good job at removing these free radicals but you can give their immune system a helping hand by feeding your pooch foods packed with antioxidants.

Antioxidants are incredible molecules that can reduce the harmful effects of free radicals and decrease the chance of your dog developing illnesses like allergies, arthritis, heart disease and cancer.

Fruits and veg are full of antioxidants so these easy green dog treats are the perfect way to get more into their diet.

Ingredients You'll Need

  • 1 cup Greek yoghurt
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 handful spinach

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Add the Greek yoghurt, blueberries and spinach to a blender with a splash of water.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into moulds and freeze until solid. We like this one from Amazon.

Give your dog one or two a day as a healthy snack.
