Meet Sandy
Sandy is a sweet and affectionate dog who has been at Halfway Home Dog Rescue for some time. Her calm temperament and gentle nature make her a favourite among the team and volunteers. She loves nothing more than a leisurely walk followed by a cosy cuddle, and she’s happiest when she’s with someone who can give her the attention she craves.
Sandy would thrive in a quiet home where she can be the centre of attention. While she is friendly with other dogs, she truly shines in a one-on-one environment where her personality can blossom. Sandy’s ideal family would be patient, loving, and committed to giving her the stability and comfort she has been waiting for.
As the star of our Christmas 2024 message, Sandy captured hearts with her soulful eyes and endearing presence. Yet, despite her charm, she’s still patiently waiting for her forever home. Sandy has so much love to give and is eager to be part of a family who will cherish her as much as she deserves.

Hazel: An 18-month-old female who has shown remarkable progress in her walking skills. She would thrive in a home with another calm dog to boost her confidence.
Oliver: Approximately 2 years old, this male dog has a mysterious past but is ready to embark on a new journey with a loving family.
Hugo: A 3-year-old male who, along with his companion Ben, is seeking a home where he can share his affectionate nature.
Mila: This lively and friendly 1-year-old female crossbreed is slender and full of energy, making her an ideal companion for an active household.
Fox: A 7-month-old female with a playful spirit, eager to learn and grow with a family who can provide her with the love and training she needs.
Lily:Another 7-month-old female, gentle and affectionate, looking for a family to call her own.
Annie: Approximately 1 year old, Annie is a curious and intelligent female dog, ready to explore the world with her new family.
Lottie: A beautiful 7-year-old female who has spent far too long in kennels, Lottie is ready for her forever home. Despite her challenging past, she is sweet-natured and enjoys spending time with people. Lottie needs a home where she can be the only dog and receive the love and care she truly deserves.
